Ven. Weragoda Sarada Maha Thero
Chief Monk/ Chief Administrator
Singapore Buddhist Meditation  Centre

WELCOME to Buddhistbook Blog With the global reach afforded by this facility, we are resolved to enhance our service to mankind, presenting to them the Enlightened words of Supreme Buddha, in sight and sound. Millions of copies of our publications already circulate for and wide in the world, distributed, in most instanced, entirely free. Titles published by us to date, number more than 275. Initially we resorted to the print medium, publishing books on Buddhism and related themes.  We moved onto electronic media products and now we being out CD’s for the spiritual uplifting of devotees.

All these efforts of ours are directed towards one noble end – aim. The world around us today is very much strife- ridden and conflict - riven.  Man destroys fellow man with no compunction at all. Disorder, turbulence, wars, insurgencies and tumults, plague mankind.  The young seem to have lost their bearings and are driven astray by habits and ways of life, that lead to catastrophe.

In such a context our web-site will hold aloft the torch of true knowledge, to light the path of mankind to happiness, harmony and peace.  Visit and web-site and be at one with Triple Gems- Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. May you be well and happy.

Mind precedes all knowables, mind’s their chief, mind-made are they.
if with a corrupted mind one should either speak or act dukkha follows caused by that, as does the wheel the ox’s hoof.
